This means that in order to get what you want, you have to wish for twice as much. Finding this out takes some time though and a few wishes only half come true. The charm helps the four travel through time as well as allowing them to do things they could not do before. With one summer, the four cousins have many magical adventures that continues in the following books by Eager.
Review:
This book has been read by people of all ages for almost 60 years. It is a lighthearted story about magical happenings. The adventures are fun and fast paced making this story easy to read and quite interesting. Children and adults alike get swept into the adventures the children have in this book. The values of realizing when it is time to give something up is in this book as well. Books do not stay popular for this long without a reason for it.
